We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Travel and Event Coordinator for a company located in Orlando,FL.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in booking travel arrangements and coordinating trade show events. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all travel arrangements for employees attending business meetings, conferences, and tradeshows, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to company travel policies.
  • Manage hotel bookings, transportation arrangements, and itinerary creation for travel events.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all travel-related inquiries and issues, providing timely assistance and resolution.
  • Coordinate logistics for tradeshows and exhibitions, including booth setup, shipping arrangements, and onsite coordination.
  • Assist in the development of tradeshow marketing materials and promotional collateral.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel expenses and budgets, providing regular reports to management.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of travel and tradeshow initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in travel coordination and event management.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in travel booking software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • 2-3 years of experience in booking travel arrangements and coordinating events, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience with tradeshow logistics and event coordination is a plus.
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Travel Associate (CTA), or Global Travel Professional (GTP) are a plus.
  • Minimum of an associate's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.

Travel: Up to 25%

Location: Corporate Office. This is not a remote work position.
