We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to serve as both an In-House Travel Agent and Assistant to the Agency Owner. This dual role combines travel planning expertise with administrative and operational support, helping to ensure seamless service delivery to clients and efficient day-to-day operations of the agency.

Travel Agent Duties:

  • Consult with clients to determine travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
  • Research, plan, and book flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities.
  • Provide personalized travel itineraries, quotes, and destination recommendations.
  • Handle reservations, ticketing, and special requests promptly and accurately.
  • Stay current on travel regulations, destinations, and supplier offerings.
  • Resolve travel issues, cancellations, or changes in a professional and timely manner.

Assistant to the Owner Duties:

  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, email correspondence, and document management.
  • Assist with client communications, proposals, and follow-ups on behalf of the owner.
  • Help manage social media, marketing campaigns, and website updates.
  • Prepare reports, maintain client databases, and track commissions or invoices.
  • Support the owner with project coordination, supplier relations, and event planning.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented.
  • Discretion, reliability, and a proactive mindset.
  • Proficient in grammar, spelling, and general communication
  • Previous experience as a travel agent or in the travel industry required.
  • Strong knowledge of booking systems and online booking tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer service–oriented with a passion for travel and hospitality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in marketing, social media management, or CRM platforms.
  • Background in small business operations or executive support roles.
