A leading travel agency dedicated to providing exceptional travel experiences to clients and is seeking to add a Travel Consultant to their team! The Travel Consultant will be responsible for assisting clients in planning, organizing, and booking their travel arrangements. This includes flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services. The ideal candidate is passionate about travel, has excellent communication skills, and can provide exceptional customer service. The compensation range for this role is $55-70K.

Responsibilities:

1. Consult with clients to determine their travel preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
2. Provide information on various destinations, travel packages, and itineraries.
3. Book flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other travel services based on client preferences.
4. Stay up-to-date on travel trends, visa requirements, and other relevant information.
5. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate rates and secure the best deals for clients.
6. Handle client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
7. Process payments and ensure accurate documentation of all travel arrangements.
8. Stay informed about changes in travel regulations and advise clients accordingly.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience but ideal candidate has 5-10 years
3. Knowledge/usage of Sabre and ClientBase software is required
4. Knowledge of travel industry trends, destinations, and travel-related services.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
7. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
