We're looking for a seasoned Travel Consultant who can sell the world.
The Role
We need a true travel professional — someone who has spent years at AAA Travel, a traditional travel agency, or a tour operator and knows how to sell anywhere on the map. You've booked Italian villas, Caribbean cruises, African safaris, Hawaiian honeymoons, Japan rail tours, and Disney packages. You don't just sell what you know — you know how to sell everything.
This role is for a closer who treats every inquiry as a booking opportunity, regardless of destination or product type. If a client calls asking about Tuscany and ends the call booked on a Galápagos cruise instead, that's the kind of consultant we want.
What You'll Do
Consult with travelers across every demographic — couples, families, multi-gen groups, solo travelers, seniors — and match them to the right destination and product
Sell the full spectrum: escorted tours, independent itineraries, all-inclusive resorts, cruises, river cruises, rail journeys, safaris, adventure travel, honeymoons, group travel, and custom FITs
Work confidently across every region — Europe, the Americas, Caribbean, Asia, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East
Quote, book, and service trips through GDS systems, supplier portals, and our internal booking tools
Manage the full client lifecycle: inquiry, consultation, quote, close, pre-departure, and post-trip follow-up
Build a loyal repeat-and-referral book of business
Hit and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets
Stay sharp on supplier promotions, destination conditions, visa and entry requirements, and travel trends
What We're Looking For
3+ years of travel sales experience at Travel Agency, a retail travel agency, host agency, tour operator, or cruise line
Proven ability to sell any destination, any product — not a single-region or single-supplier specialist
Strong working knowledge of major suppliers across tours, cruises, resorts, and air
Comfort with GDS (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus) and/or major booking platforms
CLIA, IATA, or Travel Institute certifications a plus (CTA, CTC, DS)
Demonstrated track record of hitting sales targets and growing a client base
Extensive personal travel experience across multiple continents
Excellent consultative selling, listening, and closing skills
Professional communication, attention to detail, and follow-through
