The Lead Mentor & Programs Manager is a senior, relationship-driven role serving as the connective tissue across Gifted Travel Network’s Travel Business University (TBU) flagship programs—Travel MBA (TMBA), Accelerate, and Ascend.
As TBU has grown, this role exists to provide continuity, sound judgment, and human connection across programs. The Lead Mentor & Programs Manager acts as a trusted anchor for both members and mentors, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience while protecting GTN’s standards, tone, and delivery quality.
This position blends senior mentorship, live program facilitation, mentor leadership, and program quality stewardship. It partners closely with internal leaders to ensure TBU programs continue to deliver meaningful outcomes for advisors at every stage of business growth.
This role may be eligible for remote work based on experience, business needs, and location. Regardless of work location, periodic travel is required to support and lead in-person GTN events, live programs, and advisor experiences throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Mentor Leadership & Standards
- Lead, support, and manage the TBU mentor team across TMBA, Accelerate, and Ascend
- Facilitate weekly TMBA mentor meetings and monthly Accelerate mentor meetings
- Ensure mentor alignment, quality, and consistent experience delivery across programs
- Serve as an escalation point for mentor and member experience issues
- Partner with the VP of Professional Development on mentor strategy, standards, and annual alignment
Facilitation & Member Experience
- Serve as the primary Lead Mentor for Travel MBA
- Facilitate TMBA accountability calls, Jumpstart sessions, and key live program experiences
- Oversee quarterly progress checks and conduct targeted 1:1 member conversations as needed
- Facilitate select Accelerate group coaching calls, Hot Topic Trainings, and Game-Changers sessions
- Host limited office hours and strategic support calls when appropriate
- Provide program-level oversight for Ascend, ensuring mentor quality and experience alignment
Curriculum & Communication Partnership
- Partner with the Director of Curriculum & Learning Experience on program implementation and refinement
- Provide feedback from live delivery to inform curriculum updates and improvements
- Maintain a visible, trusted presence with mentors and members
- Communicate experience trends, insights, and risks clearly to GTN leadership
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
- Significant experience in the travel industry, particularly within luxury travel, host agency environments, or advisor education
- Prior experience in coaching, facilitation, mentorship, or adult learning strongly preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and comfort leading experienced professionals

Compensation
- This position has a budgeted annual salary of $70,000
Employment Classification
- This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Reporting & Collaboration
- Reports to: VP of Professional Development
- Works closely with: Mentor Team, Program Administrator Manager, Director of Curriculum & Learning Experience, GTN Leadership Team
Work Authorization & Location
- Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the United States
- GTN is unable to offer visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Preference may be given to candidates located in states where GTN is currently registered to do business
