About the Role

A prestigious luxury travel agency is seeking an elite Senior Sabre Agent & Luxury Travel Advisor to join its high-performing team. This role is ideal for a polished, independent professional with 10+ years of Sabre GDS experience who can execute flawless air travel management while supporting full-service, high-end itineraries across all segments of travel.

You’ll work closely with senior travel advisors, ICs, and executive leadership to build and manage complex, multi-component trips for high-net-worth clientele. Full mastery of Sabre (including ticketing, exchanges, refunds, and queue management), deep knowledge of frequent flyer programs and mileage ticketing, and a track record of precise profile and visa management are essential.

Core Responsibilities

Sabre GDS Mastery & Air Operations

  • Issue, exchange, and refund tickets via Sabre with expert command of fare rules and contract terms
  • Proactively manage and clear Sabre queues daily for changes, cancellations, and action-required items
  • Monitor and resolve airline schedule updates with urgency and accuracy
  • Build and maintain Sabre profiles for all clients with accurate and current data including passport details, contact info, FF numbers, seat preferences, SSRs, etc.
  • Work directly with airline sales teams and back office support desks to secure waivers, name corrections, and contract-level assistance
  • Manage all elements of frequent flyer programs, redemptions, mileage tickets, upgrades, and alliance-based benefits to maximize client value

Luxury Travel Booking & Itinerary Support

  • Book and manage hotels, villas, cruises, private charters, insurance, car rentals, and airport transfers
  • Ensure preferred rates, benefits, and amenities are applied and confirmed across all hotel and cruise bookings
  • Use tools such as Travefy or Axus to help build and maintain visually compelling, detail-rich client itineraries
  • Collaborate with lead advisors and the CEO on end-to-end itinerary execution across all service lines
  • Confirm concierge services, experiences, and VIP amenities with partners and suppliers

Visa & Global Entry Compliance

  • Research and confirm entry/exit requirements including visas, ETAs, and health protocols for global itineraries
  • Maintain full compliance with country-specific mandates and provide accurate travel documentation guidance
  • Execute and oversee visa processing and documentation prep for clients as needed

Client-Facing and Internal Support

  • Check clients in for flights, assign preferred seats, and confirm loyalty-based upgrades
  • Communicate directly with hotels and service providers to coordinate special requests
  • Prepare final itineraries for clients, including all key travel details
  • Serve as a key operational support resource for Independent Contractors (ICs) and provide guidance on air booking and fulfillment processes
  • Work directly with the CEO to manage top-tier bookings, troubleshoot escalated issues, and uphold the highest service standards

Administrative Processes & Record Keeping

  • Log all tickets issued, changes made, and travel confirmations in internal systems (e.g., Google Sheets, shared folders, or Monday.com)
  • Maintain rigorous and daily oversight of monthly air logs, check-in lists, and future travel documentation
  • Triple-check all passenger information (name spelling, DOB, passport details, FF numbers, TSA info, SSRs) prior to ticket issuance
  • Track travel progress and adjust itineraries as needed in real time

Performance Standards & KPIs

  • Accuracy: Absolute precision in ticketing, profile creation, and documentation
  • Queue Management: Daily attention to Sabre queues with complete follow-through on time-sensitive items
  • Client Satisfaction: Deliver service that exceeds expectations through personalization and proactivity
  • Efficiency: Work swiftly without compromising thoroughness or quality control
  • Proactivity: Spot potential issues before they surface and take ownership of solutions
  • Loyalty Optimization: Actively identify mileage, upgrade, and elite benefit opportunities for every trip
  • Collaboration: Operate as a true partner to the advisor team, CEO, and IC network

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Sabre GDS experience including full command of ticketing, exchanges, refunds, and queue management
  • Expert in frequent flyer program structures, airline alliances, and how to book and manage mileage tickets
  • Proven experience managing luxury-level air, hotel, car, cruise, and insurance bookings
  • High-level understanding of global visa, entry/exit, and documentation requirements
  • Direct working knowledge of airline sales structures and ability to liaise with back office support reps
  • Exceptional attention to detail in Sabre profile maintenance and itinerary verification
  • Previous experience working in a luxury travel agency or with high-profile clientele
  • Proficient in Travefy, Axus, Google Workspace, and tools like Monday.com
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication with high levels of discretion and service fluency
