How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare

This position has the ability to work a combination of on-site and remotely.

Arranges travel services in a cost-effective manner for organization staff, job applicants and organization business travelers. Process payments to vendors and ensures payment of corporate bills and reconciliation of corporate accounts.

  • Receives and prioritizes travel requests. Confers with travelers to determine destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, necessary accommodations, and budget required for domestic and international business travel. Ensures all reservations are confirmed prior to travel.
  • Helps set and makes sure travelers adhere to organization's travel policy guidelines.
  • Consults published and computer sources to analyze and evaluate commercial rates, lowest logical airfares, times, routings, and appropriate car rentals. Computes costs of travel, accommodations, and local transportation.
  • Books transportation and hotel reservations. Prints or requests transportation carrier tickets or ticketless itineraries.
  • Tracks and audits travel activities, expenses, and payments. Prepares management reports. Evaluates, negotiates, selects, and monitors vendor services. Trouble shoots with vendors and employees.
  • Maintains in excess of $90,000 corporate checking account and $20,000 corporate Visa account for travel services payments. Manages/Maintains in excess of $1 million dollar travel budget.
  • Assists with local accommodations for employee programs, such as conference speakers and temporary housing.
  • Imparts international travel information to travelers, such as passport, visa, and inoculation requirements, customs regulations, and currency exchange rates. Imparts air security and regulations.

What We Require

Education: Associates degree in Business Accounting or travel field required.

Experience: Five years minimum work experience in the travel industry and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Travel Agent certification preferred.
