Travel Operations Manager – Global Financial Firm
Location: Chicago | On-Site, 5 Days/Week
Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000 base + Bonus

They are seeking a Travel Operations Manager to lead and evolve a sophisticated travel function supporting global teams, high-profile stakeholders, and complex itineraries. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical corporate services function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead travel operations and vendor management across all regions, driving compliance, efficiency, and white-glove service.
- Develop and manage relationships with global agencies, airline partners, and hotels.
- Analyze data to track spend, improve policy effectiveness, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage and mentor a small team; implement process automation and workflow improvements.
- Serve as point-of-escalation for high-touch travel and last-minute changes; support relocations and VIP travel as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing corporate travel within a financial services environment
- Strong vendor negotiation experience and knowledge of global travel platforms
- Proven track record leading policy design, training, and change management in dynamic environments.
- Comfortable working onsite M–F in a high-expectation, high-accountability culture.
- Clear communicator with a service-first approach and executive presence.
