Detroit Travel Trade Show

Great Lakes ASTA hosts two trade shows each year in late September / early October. The first is in the greater Detroit, MI area and the second is in the greater Grand Rapids, MI area. Our trade shows are for travel professionals only.

These shows are designed to give travel suppliers the opportunity to meet with hundreds of travel advisors throughout Michigan. At the same time, travel advisors have the opportunity to meet their local sales reps and learn about travel products. We have such an awesome mix of travel professionals that get together in one conducive evening. From the brand new advisor to the experienced and from the home based travel advisor to one who works in a brick and mortar office, travel professionals will have the opportunity to meet them all. Our advisors will have a chance to speak directly with cruise representatives, hoteliers, tourist board reps, travel insurance reps, tour company reps and more.

Our shows starts at 5:00 PM with registration and a trade show. A gourmet meal is served at 6:30 PM at which time the supplier introductions and door prize drawings begin. The show concludes promptly at 8 PM with the grand prize giveaway.
