I am still in my training process with Magical Moments Vacations of becoming an agent and still prepping for my graduation to become an agent. I am very pleased with the training and support provided to me so far. All of the MMV people have been absolutely amazing to work with through this learning process!

The Travel Society is my third (and final) host agency I've joined since starting last year. Having the ability to compare to some others, I am definitely with the right one now. I couldn't have told you who the president or anyone who worked directly in management were at those companies, but when I was thinking about joining TTS, I had a call with the president and VP immediately. As members of TTS, we have direct numbers and access to every director/staff member and I can call them up any weekday and get a hold of them. They know me by name, what I sell, what areas I need help in, etc. even though I just joined in January 2024. Their motto is "we only make money if you make money" which empowers every action they take everyday. I can feel this in everything they do for me and the other agents. I did not feel this was the goal with the other host agencies I was with. TTS has provided me with an invaluable mentor, access to luxury amenities for my clients, access to conferences to improve my knowledge and skills, and countless resources. TTS values quality over quality which is important in this business. I realize now I was just another number in those agencies and am now part of a family.

I am absolutely thrilled to share why working for 1923 Travel has been an incredible journey for me already. From the moment I joined this dynamic team, I knew I had found a workplace unlike any other. First and foremost, 1923 Travel fosters a culture of passion and dedication towards travel that is truly contagious. Every day, I am surrounded by colleagues (virtually and locally!) who share my love for exploration and adventure. This shared enthusiasm creates an environment where creativity thrives and everyone shares their niche expertise and skills with the group. One of the things I love most about working for 1923 Travel is how the agency is managed. Megan, our agency owner, embodies authenticity, intelligence, and an unwavering eagerness to help. Her passion for travel is matched only by her generosity and commitment to supporting her team of agents. 1923 Travel is local to me, so I have had the privilege of getting to know Megan through frequent coffee meetings and attending conventions together. A true sticking point for me was to avoid predatory MLM travel companies; Megan has proven that 1923 Travel will never transition into this type of business structure. She is steadfast in her support and celebration of every one of her agents' independent successes. Working for 1923 Travel has been a dream come true. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of a team that is passionate, innovative, and dedicated to making travel dreams a reality, all while working from home doing something that makes me HAPPY! I wholeheartedly recommend joining the 1923 Travel family!

Host Agency Reviews is an independent website connecting travel agents to industry resources. We connect advisors to host agencies, franchises, consortia, and industry events, while providing stellar resources through our blog and podcast. Founded by Steph Lee, HAR is the largest B2B travel industry directory on the web. Oh, and we like to have fun. Lots of fun.

Hi, I’m Steph! I own the site. :)

I’m passionately curious, always up for something new! I love to travel, read/write, and meet new people. I have a Collie mix named Rigel and an Aussie called Fennec that keep me company!

I grew up in the travel industry, my parents’ travel agency was in the basement. Later on, I built and worked at a host agency for years. Sometimes I get so excited about things, I think I leave a trail of rainbows in my footprints! :)
