−Home Based Travel Agent Forum 2014 – Las Vegas (all-day) @ The VenetianJun 16 – Jun 18
The OSSN Home Based Travel Agent Forum 2014 is June 16-18th at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

Attendance is now ringing in at $109 per agent. Looks like prices have gone up quite a bit this year for the 2014 Home Based Travel Agent Forum (see last year’s event). However, this year they are providing the opportunity for agents to attend the trade show floor only for $20 per travel agent – a great option for those that never attend any sessions and just go to connect with vendors!
Including in the $109 per agent registration fee are all sessions, all meal functions, any receptions, and access to the trade show floor. More details on the Home Based Travel Agent Forum 2014 session schedule.
If you’re interested in learning more about Hawaiian islands, plan to come in a day earlier because on Sunday, June 15th from 1-5pm there are back-to-back trainings on the Hawaiian islands.
Please note: All registrations are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another travel agent or be used for another Home Based Travel Agent Forum.
In keeping with year’s past, the host hotel is the Venetian. It doesn’t look like there are any negotiated rates for the Home Based Travel Agent Forum attendees this year. If you find otherwise, please let me know!
The Venetian does have a free shuttle service for their Gold and Platinum Grazie members.
If you’re flying in, there are codes available for small discounts (3-10%) on published airfare with legacy carriers American, Delta, and United. Find out more on the transportaion for the Home Based Travel Agent Forum.+Home Based Travel Agent Forum 2014 – Las Vegas @ The Venetian (all-day)
−GBTA Convention 2014 (all-day) @ Los Angeles Convention CenterJul 26 – Jul 30
The GBTA Convention 2014 is being held July 26-30th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In going with this year’s theme ‘Business in Motion’, Keven Spacey will be the keynote speaker. If you’re a corporate travel agent or work for/have a travel management company, the GBTA Convention is definitely worth at taking a look at!
Along with 75+ educational sessions, the chance to connect with over 400 suppliers, there is also the opportunity to earn your GTP (Global Travel Professional) certification. And if that’s not enough, they even created a page to help you justify your case to attend the 2014 GBTA Convention. :)

For those of you unfamiliar with the GBTA Convention there is a First-Timers Orientation and Luncheon that is complimentary.
The Headquarter Hotel is the JW Marriott Los Angeles at LA Live but there is a whole host of other hotels you can stay at (that may or may not have shuttles to the convention center).
Here’s a list of the hotels, prices, and if they have shuttles. If they do have shuttles, you can find more info on the shuttle service and shuttle schedule on the site.+GBTA Convention 2014 @ Los Angeles Convention Center (all-day)
